Issue with transport email web interface url without domain name

Dear All,

Some days ago I installed graylog-2.3.2-2.ova on ESXi
It’s really an easy installation. So far almost all is running fine.
I configured some notifications which I receive. But the URL which is inside has no FQDN, it’s only http://graylog/… without domain name.
Googling around I found file /opt/graylog/conf/graylog.conf has the config. I changed the corresponding line.
But this stays only so long until I do not run “graylog-ctl reconfigure”. If running this job the line is again:
transport_email_web_interface_url = http://graylog

Obviously this file /opt/graylog/conf/graylog.conf will be generated out of many other parts.
But I couldn’t find which is responsible for “transport_email_web_interface_url”

Any hints how to solve this issue ?

Kind regards
Hans

See graylog-ctl set-email-config at http://docs.graylog.org/en/2.3/pages/configuration/graylog_ctl.html#configuration-commands

Hi Jochen,

Great, this was exactly the answer I was looking for.
It’s working now. Many thanks.

Kind regards
Hans
