Within graylog it is advised to update your versions sequential
or it can lead to errors due to missing changes.
In your case you could at least update by versions:
3.1.0
3.1.4
3.2.0
3.2.6
3.3.0
3.3.17
4.0
4.0.17
4.1.0
4.1.14
4.2.0
4.2.12
4.3.0
4.3.15
5.0
Take in mind some real changes when going to 5.X
the moved to an internal java. Watch MongoDB versions, that also
changes when moving to 5.0 and needs some careful steps.
