Good morning,
Would I need to do any maintenance after adjusting the maximum indices up in the retention configuration or can I simply go up and expect all to be well, assuming I have the space of course.

@tbmay that is the idea behind this - Graylog takes care of the Elasticsearch Indices and rotate, force_merge and delete without any interaction.
