Configuration of logs

Hello,

I installed graylog on my machine and it works very well, the only problem is the logs. Indeed, I have to clean the logs every 3 or 4 days to avoid that my disk saturates.

I wanted to set up an rotate, but I have the impression that it’s already the case in the /var/log/elasticsearch folder where I find a lot of graylog files.

Yet I can’t find this rotation configuration. Does anyone know where I can find it (I’ve already looked in/etc/logrotate).

Elastic log rotation is handled in the Graylog GUi under System->indexes. Edit the index you want to change.

thank you, @tmacgbay, indeed the “max docs per index” was too high
