HTTPS setup in Graylog 3.0.0

Hi,

I have been attempting to enable https protocol in the last days without any luck. I have been based the configuration in this configuration. However, I am just getting a blank page with no errors in the server.log file, the configuration includes self signed PKCS#8 private key and X.509 certificate. After, I imported into the keystore:

keytool -importcert -keystore /jdk/jre/lib/security/cacerts -storepass changeit -alias "graylog 3.0.0" -file ../config/certs/cert.pem

Before continuing trying, Is there other configuration I have to be aware of?

[root@log1 bin]# curl -I https://10.99.2.19:9000
curl: (60) Issuer certificate is invalid.
More details here: http://curl.haxx.se/docs/sslcerts.html

curl performs SSL certificate verification by default, using a "bundle"
 of Certificate Authority (CA) public keys (CA certs). If the default
 bundle file isn't adequate, you can specify an alternate file
 using the --cacert option.
If this HTTPS server uses a certificate signed by a CA represented in
 the bundle, the certificate verification probably failed due to a
 problem with the certificate (it might be expired, or the name might
 not match the domain name in the URL).
If you'd like to turn off curl's verification of the certificate, use
 the -k (or --insecure) option.

Thanks a lot

Hello,
I’ve been dealing with the same issue, I’ve also imported CA into the key store and still no luck.
This is where im at right now;
Graylog 3.0 Upgrade Problem

Hi @gsmith,

I got it working, in my case I needed to change server.conf in the following params to be https:

 http_publish_uri
http_external_uri

Please check you have just https instead of http. I hope this can solve your problem.

Cheers
