Then I headed to install the Illuminate bundle, which lets me access pfSense content packs that are not only available to Graylog Enterprise but also Graylog Open (as explained in Graylog Illuminate).
I don’t use any of the Enterprise module features (except for pfSense Illuminate content packs), so can you guys confirm if the 2GB daily log ingestion limit still applies to my setup or not? I’m kinda worry because when I go to the Enterprise Overview page, it still shows the license traffic limit line…
Here are the details of my setup:
Operating System: [please provide OS info]
Graylog Version: 6.1
Enterprise free license installed with Illuminate pfSense content packs
If you have the license applied and you violate the 2GB limit 5 times within 30 days, you would lose access to the Enterprise features.
The 2GB license is not required to use the Graylog Open Illuminate pack, if you are not using any of the Enterprise features associated with the 2GB license then you can just remove it.
Thank you for your quick reply. So technically I can remove the Enterprise free license, in the meantime still can able to use the Graylog Open Illuminate content packages - such as pfSense right?
