Heyo,
just a quick question that popped up in my mind a few times. It just came up again when i read this discussion from Adding External Iframes:
Is there already a determined way on how widgets that are not specifically bound to data stored in Graylog are supposed to be added? I’ve got a few ideas that I want to implement starting in about a month, but I don’t really see a way for adding “generic” widgets (e.g. a iframe, a simple clock, “sticky notes”, tickers, etc.).
My idea
How about a new page Widgets under the Dashbords or System menu that can create new “unbound” widgets and manage all existing widgets? E.g. update the caching interval of all (or a subset) widgets at once.
I’ll leave this up for discussion
