Whenever I go to a dashboard, it defaults to searching within the last 5 minutes with this “no override” caption. That’s fine in itself but I would like to change the default search time from 5 minutes to within the last 1 day. I’ve seen similar posts but nothing with this problem exactly.

you need to select the wanted time period when you create the dasboard - or save it with adjusted time once. After that the choosen time period will be used.
