Time Difference

Hello GL Community,

So I have a GL 2.1 running just fine, and I’m setting up a 2.2.31 on a new Host. Since we’re a small shop, easier to rebuild than to try to copy to a new VM host and SAN.

Anyway…I have both GL consoles open in 2 tabs of the same browser. The 2.1 shows the right time, but the 2.2.31 is showing results from 7 hours ago. If I code in the absolute time into the search, it works great.

Where am I missing the default time settings in the new one, that the old one never needed?

Hi Tom,

yes you can configure the timezone in the graylog server.conf
root_timezone =
