Upgrade process Step 6

Hello,
I am running graylog 5.2 on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9.I want to upgrade my graylog to last release.
As per instruction, I need to go to release 6.0 and than 6.1.
Using instructions on [link]

At step 6, the command is the following:
sudo yum upgrade graylog-server-6.0

Running this command I receive the logs below:
Updating Subscription Management repositories.
Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9 for x86_64 - BaseOS (RPMs)
Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9 for x86_64 - AppStream (RPMs)
Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9 for x86_64 - Supplementary (RPMs)
Red Hat Satellite Client 6 for RHEL 9 x86_64 (RPMs)
No match for argument: graylog-server-6.0
Error: No packages marked for upgrade.

I run command “sudo yum upgrade graylog-server-6.0.7-1” and it works.

Is it correct to tun this or why provided command on instruction is not working?

Thanks
Denis

Hello @denis.boz,

This is an error in the docs, technically when upgrading from 5.2 → 6.0 after importing the repo for 6.0 you could just run ‘yum upgrade graylog-server’ which would install the latest release of 6.0. No real need to specify and exact version.

What you did was correct.

Thanks for confirming. I just completed the upgrade on production server and all seems to be OK after the upgrade.

Have a nice day
