Good day!
How update body of saved searches and remove them?
When you’ve been running the saved search and updated the search query in the search field, you can update the saved search by clicking on “Update search criteria” in the “Saved search” menu.
With results
Without results
When I delete saved search and create message with the same name old body remains.
And update don’t update body of saved search.
Which version of Graylog are you using?
Could you create a screen cast (or at least screenshots) of what you’re doing?
I apologize for the silence! There you are…
Version:
2.3.2+3df951e, codename Tegernseer
JVM:
PID 13394, Oracle Corporation 1.8.0_131 on Linux 4.9.0-4-amd64
- At the beginning, I try to update the query, but after the page is updated, the old one appears.
- Then I try to delete the saved search- I succeed, but if I try to create a new query with the same name - the query is replaced with the old one.
Or I can delete only from MongoDB?
You have to execute the new search once before you can update the saved search criteria.
Thank you now I can delete and create saved search with the same name.
But how cat I update search. I select the saved search and it is executed. Next, I edit the query and if I click, then I can only save the new one. And I can update only the name.
Please create a bug report for this at https://github.com/Graylog2/graylog2-server/issues and include as much information as possible.
Is screencast will do?
Yes, include that in the issue.
