I recently upgraded to Graylog 3.3.6 on Ubuntu 16.04.7 LTS. I’m running ES 6.8.12 and MongoDB 3.6.20.
I’ve noticed a new problem with Top Values widgets. If I perform the Show Top Values action on a field the widget appears and the top 15 values are populated properly. Everything looks as expected.
However, in order to increase the max Number of Values for the row field, I have to edit the widget, double-click the field, increase the number, click Done, and then repeat the process again for it to display properly. The second time I edit the Number of Values I am not changing the value (it is already set to the new max I entered the first time I did it), I am just double-clicking the field and clicking Done.
After the first time I increase the Number of Values the widget becomes empty and every other widget on my search/view becomes empty. Once I go through the process of double-clicking the field again, the widget populates properly and I can click Done.
This is a little difficult to explain, but appears to be a new behavior to me. It basically amounts to an extra step when changing the Number of Values in a Top Values widget. Is anyone else able to reproduce this? It looks like a UI issue rather than any sort of back-end data issue.
Thanks
Mark
