To Customize Roles For Users

Hi All

Is it possible to give users complete access to only Alerts, Dashboards, streams and Inputs parts of graylog web-Interface. We don’t want to give admin access but to give only access to above mentioned options.

Graylog version - 2.4.6
Elasticserach Version - 5.6

Of course you can just try it out on your testbed :wink:

I’ve poked around on System > Authentication and clicked the Create new role button under Roles.

  • You can specificy specific streams
  • And you can specify specific dashboards

It looks like custom roles cannot be given administrative rights, so any custom role cannot view/adjust inputs or alerts.
