SMTP Configuration

Hello,

We have Graylog running successfully and have SMTP configuration set for alerting however we would like to secure the SMTP configuration (Especially password) is this possible? I have searched the web and can’t find any information however I don’t like the idea of the SMTP password being clear text in the config file.

The password for the SMTP server needs to be in cleartext in the configuration file. Other means of credentials storage (e. g. Vault) are not supported.
