Sidecar 1.x apitoken howto?

I’m in the process of migrating into 3.0 (from 2.4) and come to the sidecar 1.0 migration from 0.1. http://docs.graylog.org/en/3.0/pages/sidecar.html#sidecar-configuration says " You can get your API token by following the link on the Sidecars Overview page." thats the same page and theres no info on how to create the API Token.

We don’t appear to have one set in our 2.4/sidecar 0.1 environment so looks like this token needs to be created new.

How do i go about this?

Navigate to YOUR graylog (webui) .

From there System->Sidecars

oh, yeah… duh! System > sidecars
“Do you need an API token for a sidecar? Create or reuse a token for the graylog-sidecar.”
