Sharing all tabs of a Graylog Dashboard

1. Describe your incident:
I am a Graylog admin who is busy sharing Dashboards with other users with viewer rights. I created a Dashboard A with multiple tabs in it for different subtopics under A.
I have shared Dashboard A with user Z who can access the main tab (created first) but not the other tabs.

2. Describe your environment:

  • OS Information: Rocky Linux 8.5

  • Package Version: Graylog 4.2.9

  • Service logs, configurations, and environment variables:

No symptoms in the logs exist. However, when the user accesses the dashboard, only 1 tab is available. All other tabs that have widgets and graphs from my perspective do not show up when the user views them.

3. What steps have you already taken to try and solve the problem?

I have unshared the dashboard with the user. Then I have shared again.

4. How can the community help?
Can the community confirm this is common behaviour and how can I resolve it?

Hey @ofentselogger

by chance, does the other tabs have different streams comapared to the first tab? Meaning the widgets created on the other tabs do they access/use different stream/s?

Hi @gsmith

The streams are basically the same. The only difference is that one stream looks at 24 hrs in order to make a widget. Then the other stream has 7 days in order to make a widget. I hope that makes sense.
