Server.conf Option: Disable the “You are running an outdated Graylog version” message

Looking to see what the server.conf option parameter would be for disabling the nag message, “You are running an outdated Graylog version” in Graylog.

@jandrusk there isn’t presently an option to do this. I’d recommend raising it in https://github.com/Graylog2/graylog2-server as a feature request.

Graylog check this URL to get latest available version:
https://versioncheck.graylog.com/check

You have 3 options:

  1. Add this parameter to /etc/graylog/server/server.conf:
    versionchecks = false
  2. Or disable this url in your proxy, firewall, /etc/hosts file
  3. Or create script, that will delete notification using API:
    /api/system/notifications/outdated_version

Perfect, thanks as that’s exactly what I needed.

Please reply, which option worked for you…

#1 seems to have worked for me.
