Search results table fields not persisting

Description of your problem

I am adding fields to messages table of a stream and saving it. All looks good. But when I reload page or navigate different pages then open the stream page again, all fields that I add are gone. How can I make it persistent? I want to add some fields belongs to specific streams and they should always shown in the messages table of the stream whenever I open them.

Sounds like you want to create a dashboard - I believe saving in streams just saves the search criteria by design…

Yes, adding fields to messages table persists in dashboards. Thanks for the hint.
