Running sidecare stops sending data

I installed graylogs then installed two sidecars on windows 10 computer. The sidecars were working for one day then stopped sending data and show inactive. The computer and servers have not been rebooted. The service on computers shows to be running. I ran the sidecar start command " graylog-sidecar.exe /S -SERVERURL=http://10.10.156.132:9000/api -TAGS=“windows”" again and the sidecar is now showing in graylogs as running for about 5 min then go back to inactive. Does anyone know why the sidecars just stop sending data?
Firewall is off on server and computers.

Update,
It looks like you have to live the command prompt open after you run the start command. The sidecar goes inactive as soon as i close the command prompt. how do you get around this?

run is as a service
