I would like to ask if there is a plan or roadmap for supporting versions of Elasticsearch above 7.10. From the official Elastic site the EOL date for 7.10.x is May 2022 (Elastic product end of life dates | Elastic) which is fast approaching and from reading other blog posts it doesn’t seem like there is a plan to support versions past ES 7.10.x.
I’m asking because we cannot run any software that is out of support per our policy.

Hey there. I’m not aware of us having any plans in the short term to support 7.11+. This may be something that @dscryber could work on finding an answer to for you.
No connection to Graylog, Inc., nor do I have any special insight, but if I were to guess I’d say OpenSearch will probably be the path forward. (cough)
