Port configuration from 2.4 to 3.0?

We are having issues upgrading from 2.4 to 3.0. One approach I am looking at is just bringing up a new 3.0 and duplicating the configuration from the 2.4 server. Is there a way to port the configuration to avoid having to manually duplicate all the streams, inputs, notifications, etc.?

OVA Upgrade V 2.5.1 -> 3.0?

Recently I ended succesfull migration from Graylog 2.5 (virtual appliance) to 3.0 (installed from packages). I had about 6 months of logs in total about only 30 GB. It took a lot of head scratching and googling. My servers are virtual, so a lot of snapshots before every step. It helped a lot, needed some rollbacks.
