I used OVA install on VMware.

I have never had major issues upgrading it.

The procedure works; no errors; versions print correctly afterwords; however ton of java errors effectively rendering the upgraded OVA unusable; only fix is to roll back to the pre-upgrade snapshot. I can repeat the process at will and the outcome is consistent; don’t know why- maybe a plugin or what not but if people are reporting success I will assume it’s something with my OVA…
