I’m installing a new cluster, and one of the data nodes isn’t coming up.
I’m trying to look for reasons, any ideas please?
I’ve checked as many of the configs as i can for a difference and a typo but nothing is obviously coming up!

Can all data nodes resolve the domain name for pedro-grdn-03.home.lab?
Yeah, tried that bit.
Ping, nslookup.
Ping from domain name all works!

Do you see anything in the failing datanode logs? Can you post the log here?

Hi @Tdvorak,
Working with Graylog SD team.
We ended up deleting the mongodb database and rejoined the nodes.
This brought everything back up, SD suggested it might have been dns wasn’t fully replicated when the cluster was built.
I now have a working cluster/platform. So onwards we go!
