I would like to compare today’s server performance with yesterday’s. (And once I get that figured out, I’d also like to do last week, last month, etc). Is there any way to graph, for example, message count for these two parameters?

I’m not sure if Graylog can give to performance calculation between two days. You might need something like Zabbix, etc…
Only configuration I have seen was modifying message count.
I’m not 100% positive but maybe Enterprise version might have something like that.
