Graylog with opensearch compression codecs

Its a bit unclear if graylog 6.x created indices use compression of some sort or not (see: Index codecs - OpenSearch Documentation). I suspect not.

How would one go about managing the codec options in the community version? I do not find any references/mentions of compression options in the graylog documentation or in the various “indices” menu of graylog itself.

Options regarding compression can not be influenced from Graylog, regardless of which version you are running.
