GrayLog Input for Public Server

Dear Concern,

i have couple of question regarding GrayLog Server:

1: Can i add my Public IP Based Server as a Gray Log Client ?, if yes then please share the necessary step.

2: One of my Public Server is running with Mongo, Mysql, HTTPD and Java services so i need to add all services as a separate input or i can configure all services in a single input… please explain.

What does that mean?

That completely depends on how you plan to ingest these logs.

FWIW, you could use Filebeat to read the individual log files and send everything to a single Beats input.
