Graylog GUI stalls at signing in

1. Describe your incident:
Graylog, open search, modgod services all running. Graylog GUI stalls at signing in with no error messages. Machine was taken offline and isolated static ip in config was changed to loopback address config file updated.

2. Describe your environment:

  • OS Information: Ubuntu 22.04.4 LTS

  • Package Version: Graylog Enterprise 6.0.2-1, Opensearch 2.14.0, Mongodb 7.0.11

  • Service logs, configurations, and environment variables:

3. What steps have you already taken to try and solve the problem?
Restarted services, rebooted VM, checked config files, reset admin password.

4. How can the community help?
Looking for any recommendations on troubleshooting, need to get logs currently residing in Graylog.

looks like it started but the auditlogger error out because you need a license.

what do you mean by “stalls”?

Hi @gsmith thank you for the response.

I saw the errors but I still should be able to access the GUI. It was previously working with no issues.

When you log in with any credential and click log in, it just saying signing in and it spins but never moves past the login screen.

Ok, when its doing that can you check the logs again, the screenshot you posted does have enough info to trouble shoot this issue.

Also can you show you graylog configuration, make sure you leave out personal information be for posting.
