Graylog as a Grafana Datasource

I have Graylog 3.3 up and running and collecting syslog. I have Grafana up and running on a separate server but in the same subnet. I’m trying to add Graylog (Elasticsearch) as a Grafana datasource (e.g. http://<Graylog-IP>:9200) but am getting 502 errors. I installed Elasticsearch Head in my Chrome browser and it too fails to connect. Question…

What do I need to do to enable remote connections to Graylog’s Elasticsearch database?

Update…

I believe I’ve got it working by changing the Access method from Server to Browser. Once done, the 502 error went away.

I think I spoke too soon. The Elasticearch Head plugin does not show Connected using the same URL (http://<Graylog-IP>:9200) to connect. So my question remains…
