Disabling autoupdate on searches or restricting frequency of requests

Hi everyone,

We are using Graylog 2.4 and we would like to know if it is possible to disable the auto-update feature which allows periodic search requests on streams? This is a UI feature which is located to the left of “saved searches” text box.

We would like to disable this to reduce the search load on ES, particularly for searches that span large time periods.

Can we disable this, or at least configure the possible frequency values in the drop down?

that is currently not possible in Graylog it would be a feature request to make that happen: https://github.com/Graylog2/graylog2-server/issues
