Hello Graylog Team,
I had created a test extractor and then deleted it. But I still see the extractor on messages.
What is the correct way to delete an extractor after it was created.
What I have done
Deleted the extractor and restarted Graylog Server - but no luck
Is there some caching issues ??? that causes this
Currently using version 3.1

maybe your messages are not in “time sync” so you have the impression the extractor still runs. At least that is what I have seen in the past.
In other words - I never have seen that extractors are not deleted proper.
Hello @jan
The extractor is delete, but the problem is, I was filtering a specific field in that extractor and after deleting the old extractor, that same field cannot be accessed again in new extractor. I don’t know if I need to restart or reset any settings as all other field are showing except the one I created in the old extractor.

I have seen that in the past only with outputs - but not with extractors.
Can’t imagine for the reason. Did you checked if the problem persist if you restart Graylog?
Hello @jan
I restarted graylog, but still that one property is missing. I don’t know what is the reason for that issue.
