Alerts not being triggered on Graylog version 2.4

Hello,
I am new here and to Graylog.The issue that is all of a sudden the Alerting has stopped on Graylog.I cross checked the below>

  1. I see pipelines working fine.
    2.See logs coming in as expected.
    3.Notification is working fine.
    4.Tested the rules in place and its been detected in (Tested via stream).
    But when i check on the Alerts - The unresolved alerts how none and no alerts are being checked upon. Any guidance would be really appreciated. Majority of the traffic pass through pipe line and then the rules are based on aggregation. I apologise if i have missed something important.
