About the EOL of ElasticSearch 6 and Graylog

Hi Community,

Anybody knows what is going to happen when ElasticSearch 6.x reach its EOL, at 2020-11-20, in five months from now?

Is there any plans from Graylog to migrate to ElasticSearch 7, or other similar NoSQL solution?

Because I’m starting a new project using Graylog these days at my work, and I need to know what is going to happen before, in terms of support of the core technologies of Graylog, and to calculate time for migration at the end of the year.

Thanks in advance.

he @aguida79

the next major release of Graylog will support at least Elasticsearch 7.

The dependencies and restrictions of the current Graylog release will not change.
