I created decorators based on the message field, and would like to generate dashboard based on the values of the decorators, but it is not possible. Can anyone tell me the best way to get this done?

make the changes permanent and not with a decorator - because the decorators only run in the moment you run a search and show the result.
You would need to make the changes permanent to the data to be able to create dashboards on that.
