Streams and default index set

Hi everyone

I created some streams for my logs. I want to know that need to tick checkbox of "REmove matches from ‘Default Stream’ or not? this check box decrease the messages or dont affect the performance?thanks inadvance

If you don’t remove from default stream then your message will be in two streams, unless you have a need for this you won’t want it. It can use more space, cause two messages to be returned in searches etc
