I am very new to Graylog and apologize is this is a simple issue. I have looked online for hours for a solution but cannot find anything helpful.
Graylog, Elastisearc and remote rsyslog entries all seem to be properly set up. I get the rsyslog entries when I search for a given machines IP address. However, when I drill down into that message, the full message that is show is simply numeric. The following screen shot shows the issue.
This particular entry was made using logger with the message of “test”. However all syslog entries appear the same.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
