Possible to make pipelines parse and act upon old logs?

Hi,
I am looking for a way to remove some sensitive data from old logs, I’ve somewhat got the pipeline and rule down for it using regex_replace and have tested it out on a sample stream but I don’t know how to make the pipeline parse all old logs matching the condition of the rule. Is it possible to do so?
Any help is much appreciated

once the logs are saved in elasticsearch no option is given to parse/work on them.
