we are looking to get email notification for unprocessed messages in Graylog, or if any API is available let us know.
Environment: 4 GL nodes and 10 ES nodes

What specifically do you mean by unprocessed, messages in the queue, mesaages that didnt match a pipeline rule, errors in message formats so they were dropped etc?

Unprocessed message in the journal, i would check Elasticsearch/Opensearch logs it might give a reason why.
