Good afternoon, after VMware upgrades form 6.7. to 7.0 event logs increased considerably. How can we minimize used space while leaving log retention unchanged? Thank you, Frank
Did the size of the message increase, or the volume of messages increase?
size of logs from vsphere has grown from 14MB to 1.5GB per day.
Have you checked the vsphere logging config? Could it be that debug-level logs have been turned on? I’m not familiar with vsphere, but that is a huge increase.
