Graylogservice does not start because of java?

we installed the latest graylog, we are not able to get on the webinterface since the service does not start.

OS Information: Debian 10

We configured the server.conf, added the password hashes and so on.

Might consider resetting your admin password secret and the root password hash… never a good idea to post that information on a public forum.

When you say you installed the latest version, does that mean you upgraded to that version and this was running or this is a new install and you’ve installed the latest version.

I’m assuming this is a new install and has never been working.

Couple thing I found odd, you could try this suggestion and restart Graylog Service.

You can comment this:

If $http_bind_address contains a wildcard IPv4 address (0.0.0.0), the first non-loopback IPv4 address of this machine will be used.This configuration setting must not contain a wildcard address!

From what you just posted, it looks like the MongoDB is down… here is what mine looks like up and running…
