Graylog with Elastic Cloud hosted Elasticsearch

Elastic Cloud ( allows us to get an ES cluster up and running in a few minutes.
At the time of writing, we can choose to deploy the following ES G.A. versions:
7.11.2 , 7.12.x and 6.8.x

BUT we have to deal with Graylog 4 compatibility chart:

Graylog 4.0.x: 6.8.x, 7.7.x-7.10.x
I double checked this, and I’ve found that ES 7.11.x and ES 7.12 are definitively NOT SUPPORTED at the moment, due to technical issues, and there is no ETA available at the moment for supporting them.

This means that the only available version that matches both requirements/availability is ES 6.8
No way to get a Graylog 4 / ES7 cluster up and running, if we want to use the Elastic Cloud offering.

Hope I’m missing something here.
