Graylog v3.1 Beta 3 now available

He all,

we are really happy to announce the release of Graylog 3.1 beta 3 as first public available beta of the next release of Graylog.

Find the blog post here: https://www.graylog.org/post/announcing-graylog-3-1-beta-3

We would be really happy if you can test and provide feedback for this Version.

Hi Jan,

is this valid for the enterprise or for the open source too?
because i’ve upgraded and it still shows 3.0.2 for some reason…

thanks,
Marius.

We do not make a difference - Enterprise and OpenSource use the same Core. Enterprise are only additional functions.

So you might not update the right way …

my bad  mate

i was having graylog excluded in the yum updates

anyway looks good…

btw are we gonna get the viewes functionality or extended search in the open source version, cause i see it running, i hope this is not a mistake

that is done on purpose. We will merge the search pages over the next two or three Graylog versions. To make the code-base not complicated because of two different search pages.

We are running 3.0.
Is there any upgrade path to follow to upgrade to 3.1 beta 3?

How about the date of the release? Is it known?

Hi i tried to update the 3.0.2 ova version to 3.1 following as suggested the steps for the OS update but something didn’t go as expected because the graylog server seens to start but a Java error makes it unavailable. Did someone succeed in updating?

Do you have release date for the final 3.1?
I have to check it again, but I’m afraid I have some bug in RC1 under alerts…

Graylog 3.1 is out since 16th August: https://www.graylog.org/post/announcing-graylog-3-1
