Graylog doesnt listen on Imput ports

1. Describe your incident: Instaling Graylog 1:1 as instruction says on Debian and Graylog doesnt listen on Imput ports

2. Describe your environment:

  • OS Information: Debian 12 Bookworm as VM on Windows Server 2025 Datacenter
  • Package Version: 6.3.1-1

3. What steps have you already taken to try and solve the problem? check Changing the port, for example from 514 to 1514, doesn’t help, ports are open on firewall.

4. How can the community help?
Had same issue on Debian, Centos, Ubuntu on diferent versions of graylog.

What does your input definition look like? What does a sample message look like. What return code do you get when sending in messages? Any error messages in the server log?
