While searching for a solution to filter out Bots out of my logs, I ran across this post which describes exactly what I thought would work. I created the required stream rule but it doesn’t work either and I am not exactly sure what is the correct solution in that thread.
Is the only solution to use pipeline? The last comment on the thread also suggests that “it should”.
Please shown the stream configuration and an example message that you are expecting to be filtered into the stream.

@Ponet To add, the user in this comment suggests using /bot/ as a regular expression which does not work but simply using bot does. I was so caught up in using his method that I ended up confused.
