Feed XML files into Graylog

Hi Guys,

I am a beginner in graylog. I am trying to build a graylog project that takes xml files.
I have created a web interface for Graylog that hosted in CentOS.
Then I have installed NXLog in my windows 10 pc to send my xml files.

I have configured sidecar collector and this sidecar is showing in the Graylog sidecar page.
I have added an input type GELF UDP.

But the problem is that I am not getting any messages in the Graylog.

In nxlog log file it shows as

2019-06-07 15:41:17 INFO nxlog-ce-2.10.2150 started

Any help would be appreciated.

I have searched in the internet to find a solution to send xml files to the Graylog. But unfortunately I couldn’t find any

Thanks
Ninto

two different topics:

  • read xml files
  • send data to graylg

The first is nxlog specific and I do not know what you need to configure how in nxlog to read xml.
The second contains some moving parts and you do not provide really much information about them.
Did you configured in Graylog your input for the data? How did you configure nxlog to send data to Graylog? did you checked if the windows host can reach the Graylog Input IP and Port?
