Email alerting failover, or multiple email clients?

Is there a way to specify multiple email clients for a failover situation, i.e. in server.conf or utilizing the graylog-ctl configuration script? I have not seen this documented yet.

For a little background - if Graylog can’t successfully dispatch an email alert to the specified mail relay (network disruption, relay failure, unplanned downtime), can it move on to a second (or subsequent) mail relay(s) before throwing an email failure alert in the UI?

No, that’s currently not supported by Graylog.

You would need to run a proxy (e. g. HAproxy) in front of your SMTP server(s) to accomplish that.
