Today I upgraded graylog-server to 5.1.2 and than upgrade opensearch to 2.8.0.
I got : “Elasticsearch exception [type=illegal_argument_exception, reason=key [types] is not supported in the metadata section]” on search page. This time though (I don’t know last time), there was a Graylog message that says :“a full restart is to be done after an elasticsearch/opensearch major version upgrade”.
After a reboot everything works like a charm.
Thank you
