Consuming Tomcat logs?

Hey there -

I see a couple of log4j appenders in the Graylog marketplace, but I am curious how others transmit their log4j logs from something like Tomcat to Graylog? I know Splunk has its universal forwarder, which is what I have used historically, but am curious what others are doing to send these multiline logs to graylog.
