TLS Input from NXlog

Hi,

I am trying to get NXlog to send logs to my Graylog using TLS due to security concerns. The Graylog instance is on an internal address and can only be accessed if you’re coming from our office IP, this means I need to use self signed certificates?

Can anyone please help me by running through all the steps I need to complete to get TLS working from NXlog to Graylog. I have done some savage Googling but I still don’t fully understand how to set up TLS.

Cheers,

G

No, you can just as well use certificates from any known CA, as long as they’re valid and match your host names.

See NXLog Community Edition Reference Manual | NXLog Docs for some examples how to set up a TLS output in NXLOG.
