Small HD on Host- Secondary Storage Options

All, I have a small hard drive on my server and I’m hoping to retain my logs longer than my current onboard SSD allows. Is it possible to configure a secondary external SSD for Graylog to move my older logs to? Something like a hot/cold storage method?

I’m currently running Graylog 5.1 with Opensearch. I’m utilizing the following Docker-Compose file:

Not sure if this what you want, but you can create a repository for OpenSearch snapshots. Reducing the amount of fields will also save room.

As for spliting up you logs on to two different volume, not sure that can work.
