Slow loading and searching in streams

I am having an issue where stream views are loading very slowly in the GUI. Searches also take forever to complete from the stream view. The rest of the GUI, including the main “search” page is working normally. This happened after the 3.3.0 update. Currently on 3.3.1 and no change. I’ve updated MongoDB to 3.6 from 3.4 and that didn’t help either.

Graylog 3.3.1
Elasticsearch 5.6.16
MongoDB 3.6.18

It seems that the following log entry is generated when the issue occurs:
INFO [AggregatesMaintenance] Removed 0 history items

Did you checked that all plugins that you have installed are valid for your Graylog version?

Maybe this is the problem

All installed plugins seem to support Graylog 3.3.1.

What plugins did you have in what version running?

I only have one plugin installed currently. It is graylog-plugin-aws-3.3.1.jar. I’m assuming the 3.3.1 means it is compatible with my Graylog version (3.3.1).

+1 after migrating from 3.1 to 3.3 streams loading, cloning etc works very slow. No additional plugins installed.150+ streams

EDIT: works better in Chrome, firefox seems to work very bad on all pages.
